I am in the process of working on a project for the annual DefCon Robots competition.
This year, the project revolves around creating a robot that can automatically aim and neutralize infrared LED targets.

BBN Updater Split

I am refactoring a lot of the BBN Updater code to work with the soon-to-be-released BBN Marketplace. Soon, when a product is added to a player's inventory, it will allow users to update manually via the website or automatically through the updater.
There is a lot of work that is still needed to be done, but I am making quite a bit of progress.

Discordi Installer Bug Fixed

There was a problem with the Discordi installer. It was fixed last night. Hopefully this bug will not occur again.
The server that sent the Discordi installation files was not sending the correct file requested to the BBN Updater client. As a result, when the updater program tried to verify the files, it would download gibberish and report it was corrupt (as it should). I redid a bit of the code on the server side and it works now.

I have decided to consolidate my developer posts into a unified web log system. Instead of reinventing the wheel, I am using Pivot, a open-source PHP blog.
This will hopefully make it a bit easier to inform viewers of my progress with Discordi, Blue Box Network, and any other project I am working on.
